Boyne Thunder Poker Run Sponsor Registration Sold Out
With the last of 60 available slots taken today, sponsor registration for the 2025 Boyne Thunder Poker Run in Boyne City, Mich., is closed. Sponsor registration for the July 11-12 event opened Monday, making this year’s sell-out the fastest in the happening’s 21-year history.

Depending on the package, sponsor spaces ranged from $3,500 to $20,000.
“Until last year, there were times we still had sponsor space in February and March,” said Ingrid Day, Boyne Thunder’s events coordinator. “We thought last year was crazy to be sold out in 10 business days, so were are incredibly grateful for the turnout this year. It is humbling.
“I wish we could make space for everyone,” she added. “But it’s a great ‘problem.’ We’re so happy folks support us this way.”
Though the event’s 120-boat capacity remains the same for 2025, dock space itself may be tighter.
“Work on the marina and the low water brings different challenges,” Day said.
General registration for the 22nd annual Boyne Thunder Poker Run opens Saturday, March 1. There are 60 spots available.
