For the third consecutive year, Performance Boat Center has stepped up to be the presenting sponsor for the Race World Offshore Key West World Championships, set this time around for November 3-10. Offshore racing is part of the Osage Beach, Mo.-headquartered dealership’s DNA, and co-owners Brett Manire and Mark Waddington have invested heavily in the sport at both the team owner and sponsor level.

“We are super-excited to be title sponsors of Key West,” Manire explained. “To me, it’s a piece of history to be associated with the most elite boat-racing venue in the world.”
Thanks to the commitment of the dealership, which includes Performance Boat Center of South Florida at its new Fort Lauderdale location, serious (only) powerboat buyers will have something else to do beyond watching three days of racing and exploring the abundant Key West nightlife. Manire and company, including Jeff Corbel, the general manager of the company’s Fort Lauderdale facility, we will be on hand during the week to provide demo rides.
“Performance Boat Center will have Performance Powerboats P- 360 and P-420 catamarans and a Sunsation Powerboats 32 CCX center console, as well as the entire MTI lineup, available for demos in Key West,” Manire said.
Buyers interested in demo rides can make appointments in advance through either the Osage Beach (573-873-2300) or Fort Lauderdale (954-237-0332) locations.
A Performance Powerboats P-420 catamaran will be among Performance Boat Center’s demo boats in Key West next month.
