Performance Boat Center And MTI Taking Two-Prong Approach To Fort Lauderdale Show
For the most part, the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show is a dock-locked showcase for performance-oriented center consoles and catamarans. Translation? Demo rides at the show location are nonexistent. But with their own operations in South Florida, Performance Boat Center and MTI can exhibit models and offer demo rides during the October 30-November 1 event. And that is exactly what both Missouri-based companies will do.

Performance Boat Center will display 42- and 28-foot Performance Powerboats catamarans and a 32-foot CCX center console from Sunsation Powerboats at the Fort Lauderdale happening. The dealership also will have a 32 CCX and a P-360 cat in the water and available for demo rides at its nearby Fort Lauderdale location. Would-be demo-ride participants should reach out to Jeff Corbel, who heads the dealership’s South Florida office, at 954-237-0332 to set up an appointment.
Though Performance Boat Center carries the MTI brand and is the center console and catamaran builder’s strongest dealer, MTI handles its own display and demo efforts during the Fort Lauderdale show. (MTI also handles its own indoor display during the annual Miami International Boat Show.) At the Fort Lauderdale event location, the company will exhibit 50- and 42-foot center consoles and a 440X catamaran.
