Sneak Peek: New Concept 32 Sport Deck

During an interview yesterday about a 53-foot center console Concept Boats is planning to unveil in 2025, company vice-president Eric Avila offered a few tidbits of information on another new model coming the from the of Opa-Locka, Fla., company. But this one, a 32-foot outboard engine-powered sportboat dubbed the 32 Sport Deck, is a significant departure from what performance-boat fans have come to expect from the 28-year-old center-console builder.

The first Concept 32 Sport Deck model will be on the water this year.

“We used to build a model called the 30 Sport Deck with outboards,” Avila explained. “This new model, which is a little bigger, brings back the idea of an outboard-engine sportboat for buyers who don’t necessarily want a center console but like outboard power.”

The first 32-footer currently is being painted. It will be powered by twin Mercury Racing V-10 400R outboards and include a transom walk-through as well as a cabin with a berth, galley and enclosed head.

Depending on power and other options, the 32-footer will price out in the $300,000 to $350,000 range.

“We’ll do a full feature story with you and include the owner when we deliver the finished boat,” said Avila. “But in the meantime, we just want to give your readers a quick look at one of the cool things we have going at Concept.”
