MYCO Returns As Florida Powerboat Club Backer

Celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, MYCO Trailers of Bradenton, Fla., has renewed its sponsorship deal with the Florida Powerboat Club. The arrangement was completed just in time for the club’s 2024 season-opening Winter Fun Run to Key Largo, which is set for January 26-28.

MYCO Trailers and the Florida Powerboat Club are continuing their strong marketing relationship.

“I cannot think of a better partner to help us celebrate our 50th birthday,” said Denis McComb, MYCO’s vice president of sales and marketing, in a press release from the custom trailer manufacturer. “As boaters ourselves, our team recognizes what (Florida Powerboat Club founder/president) Stu Jones and his team have done for Florida boating, and we are happy to support a great group.”

The Pompano Beach-headquartered club has nine events on its schedule this year. According to the release, MYCO will continue its strong presence at all of them.

“Supporting the Florida Powerboat Club and its members gives MYCO a great opportunity to showcase our quality, well-built products, and allows members to see why MYCO is an industry leader,” McComb explained. “We will have special discounts and incentives for all FPC members throughout the year, and I look forward to meeting members at FPC events.”

Jones, who was featured in a recent episode of the Speed On The Water/Scrapyard Media “In The Lead” video series hosted on the Speed On The Water YouTube channel, commended the company for its longevity in the industry.

“There is a lot to be said about this company, which has survived this industry for five decades, and it is a testament to the quality and craftsmanship of the MYCO brand,” Jones said. “I am very excited to be renewing this sponsor partnership.”
