29th Annual DCB Regatta Set For Early October – Speed on the Water
Given the year DCB Performance Marine has enjoyed—if that’s the right word—so far, the now-Phoenix-based company could have passed on producing its annual owners regatta and no one in its customer base would have complained. Under new majority ownership, the company relocated to Arizona from its longtime California headquarters throughout the summer, as did most of its key employees. And of course, business couldn’t stop. They still had exquisite catamarans to build.
In fact, DCB vice president and co-owner Tony Chiaramonte had several compassionate customers suggest that they skip the regatta this year to give themselves a well-earned break.

But that is not how the DCB crew rolls, so the 29th annual DCB Owners Regatta is on for October 5-6 in Lake Havasu City, Ariz.
“With all of the changes, this has been the biggest year ever for DCB,” Chiaramonte explained. “The new facility is rocking and rolling and we’re cranking. But our event is an annual, and that means you have it every year. So we’re a little late to the party, but the party is definitely on.”
Though pre-event sign-ups are required, on-site registration for the event opens Thursday and will be followed by a welcome reception. On Friday, the DCB faithful will enjoy a fun run to the Pirate Cove Resort complete with aerial photos and video. The catered, sit-down awards dinner is set for Friday night.
“We just announced the dates and we are already getting lots of feedback—people can’t wait,” Chiaramonte said. “Our DCB family members are already asking how they can do more than just come join us and sponsor the event.
“It’s been a busy year, for sure,” he added. “But we wouldn’t miss this for the world. It’s family.”
DCB clients can register for the event by calling 602-851-3003 or via email at [email protected].
