2025 Reach Youth Engagement Grant Recipients Include Several in the Great Lakes Region

U.S. Sailing’s Reach Initiative provides Youth Engagement Grants to non-profit sailing centers to help advance youth sailing through STEM and environmental education. The funds and resources help advance Reach’s goal to use sailing as a platform to help engage youth with education resources, establish a love of learning and encourage them to explore more STEM-based careers.

Programs selected by U.S. Sailing for the 2025 Reach Youth Engagement Grants include several in the Great Lakes region: Jolly Madison Sailing Club in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Milwaukee Community Sailing Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Sheridan Shore Sailing School in Wilmette, Illinois and The Cleveland Foundry in Cleveland, Ohio. Other recipients include Bluegrass Sailing Club in Gilbertsville, Kentucky, Community Boating Center, Inc. in New Bedford, Massachusetts, Community Sailing New Orleans, in New Orleans, Louisiana, Edison Sailing Center in Fort Myers, Florida, Havre de Grace Youth Sailing Program in Havre de Grace, Maryland, and Youth Sailing Virginia in Hampton, Virginia.
