11 Rescued After Boat Capsizes in Merrimack River Mouth | New England Boating & Fishing

Eleven people were rescued by the Coast Guard and a private boater on June 30 after the 20-foot Sea Ray they were aboard capsized and sank in the mouth of the Merrimack River.

Seas were estimated at five to six feet, in foggy conditions. All 11 people were wearing lifejackets, which helped rescuers locate them.

The rescued boaters were brought to city boardwalk, examined by medical personnel, and released.
